About DMG Dapoet
DMG DaPoet was born as Douglas Griffin and raised in a small urban community in St. Louis, MO called Berkeley. DMG DaPoet spent most of his formative years trying to come to terms with how to express himself creatively. DMG DaPoet is inspired by the likes of well known poets, lyricists, authors and activist like James Baldwin, Langston Hughes, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr., and Tupac Shakur. DMG DaPoet main focus and interest is the advancement of knowledge and spiritual growth. The promotion of the black community through philanthropy, education and knowledge.
DMG DaPoet is a published author with his latest release of Love & Life, Volume 1: A collection of poems dedicated to three women who have defined his life through unconditional love, support, and inspiration.
